Highlights:

• Requires employers to hold a safe psychological and physical workplace for employees (Ch. 60, Sec. 1).

• Requires employers to be responsible for safe work practices (Ch. 60, Sec. 1).

• Prohibits any type of abuse from employers and employees (Ch. 60, Sec. 1).

• Authorizes complaints from employees (Ch. 60, Sec. 1).

• Requires employers to assess the conditions of complaints from employees (Ch. 60, Sec. 1). 

• Requires employers to contact the state inspector if the condition violates OSHA (Ch. 60, Sec. 1).

• Compensation for physical or psychological injury; 

• Preventive causes in workplace to avoid future incidents;

• Public notification of the case;

• Attorneys fees for plaintiff; and

• Any other relief deemed necessary and appropriate.
