Highlights:

• Appropriates federal funding for fiscal year 2024 appropriations for the Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Food and Drug Adminstration, and related agencies (Title I).

• Appropriates federal funding to USDA for agricultural programs, including for (Title II):

• The Office of the Secretary;

• Executive Operations;

• The Economic Research Service;

• The National Agricultural Statistics Service;

• The Agricultural Research Service;

• The National Insittute of Food and Agriculture;

• Salaries and expenses;

• The Rural Housing Service;

• The Rural Business-Cooperative Service; and

• The Rural Utlities Service.

• Appropriates federal funding to the Food and Nutrition Service for (Title IV):

• Child Nutrition Program;

• The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC);

• The supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP);

• The Commodity Assitance Program; and

• Nutrition Programs Adminstration.

• Appropriates federal funding to the Foreign Agricultural Service for Food for Peace Title II Grants, and McGovern-Dole International food for Education and Child Nutrition Grants (Title V).

• Appropriates federal funding for the following, including (Title V):

• The Food and Drug Adminstration;

• The Commodity Futures Trading Commission; and

• The Farm Credit Adminstration.

• Establishes additional requirements and restrictions for using funds provided by this and other appropriation bills (Title VII).
