Vote to pass a bill that authorizes Fiscal Year 2024 appropriations for the Department of Defense for military activities.

Highlights:

• Appropriates federal funding for Fiscal Year 2024 for Department of Defense (DOD) for military activities, but exempts military construction, military family housing, civil works projects of the Army Corps of Engineers, and nuclear warheads, which are included in other appropriations bills (Title I-IV).

• Appropriates federal funding for the following projects within the DOD budget, including (Title I-IV):

• Military personnel;

• Operation and maintenance;

• Procurement;

• Research, Development, Test and Evaluation; and

• Revolving and Management Funds.

• Appropriates federal funding for other DOD programs, including (Title I-IV):

• The Defense Health Program;

• Chemical Agents and Munitions Destructions;

• Drug Interdiction and Counter-Drug Activities; and

• The Office of the Inspector General.

• Appropriates additional federal funding for related agencies, including the the Central Intelligence Agency Retirement and Disability System Fund, and the Intelligence Community Management Account (Title I-IV).
