Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) specifically for departmental management, intelligence, situational awareness, and oversight.

Highlights:

• Appropriates federal funding for fiscal year ending September 30, 2024 for departmental management, intelligence, situational awareness, and oversight, including, but not limited to, the following areas and departments (Title I, Sec. 1):

• The Office of Secretary and Executive Management;

• The Management Directorate;

• Intelligence, analysis, and situational awareness; and

• The office of the Inspector General.

• Appropriates federal funding for fiscal year ending September 30, 2024 for security, enforcement, and investigations for the following, including  (Title I, Sec. 1):

• U.S. Customs and Border Protection;

• U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement;

• The Transportation Security Adminstration;

• The U.S. Coast Guard; and

• The U.S. Secret Service.

• Appropriates federal funding for fiscal year ending September 30, 2024 for protection, preparedness, response, and recovery, including  (Title I, Sec. 1):

• The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency; and

• The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

• Appropriates federal funding for fiscal year ending September 30, 2024 for research, development, training, and services, including (Title I, Sec. 1):

• U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services;

• The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers;

• The Science and Technology Directorate; and

• The Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office.

• Specifies additional requirements and restrictions for using federal funds provided by this and other appropriations bills  (Title I, Sec. 1).
