Vote to pass a bill that authorizes all of the state's medical marijuana growers and processors to sell their products directly to patients.

Highlights:

• Authorizes all of the state's licensed independent medical marijuana growers and processors to sell their products directly to qualified patients (Sec. 1).

• Defines “independent grower/processors” for the purposes of this bill as meeting the following criteria and requirements, including (Sec. 2):

• Has not had their permit revoked;

• Has not entered into a merger, acquisition or other change of control transaction with any other entity that was awarded a grower/processor permit; or

• Is not otherwise associated with or materially the same as another medical marijuana organzation.

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect 120 days after passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 5).
