Vote to pass a bill that increases the ratio number of children to child care workers allowed in a group child care center.

Highlights:

• Increases the ratio number of children to child care workers allowed in a group child care center to the following, including (Sec. 3):

• For 1-2.5 year olds a ratio of 1:4;

• For 2.5-3 year olds a ratio of 1:6;

• For 3-4 year olds a ratio of 1:12;

• For 4-5 year olds a ratio of 1:15; and

• For 5 years and older a ratio of 1:20.

• Specifies that the provision of this bill shall take effect upon passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 4).
