Vote to pass a bill that appropriates more resources to retain the vocational and rehabilitation programs in the state.
Highlights:

Prohibits the Department of Health and Human Services from enacting policy that reduces or eliminates services provided at Adult Development and Vocational Programs (ADVP) or Community Rehabilitation Programs (CRP) without following procedures on stakeholder notification and input (Sec. 1).

Prohibits the department from permitting a reduction in admission to ADVPs and CRPs until services are reviewed and new services approved (Sec. 2).

Authorizes the North Carolina Congressional delegation the option to review the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act’s rules and definitions to assess for any negative impact to citizens of North Carolina (Sec. 3).
