Title: Prohibits Showing Adult Entertainment to a Minor
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits showing adult entertainment to a minor.
Classifies a violation committed knowingly in the presence of a minor as a Class H felony (Sec. 1).
Specifies that it is unlawful for a person to engage in adult live entertainment knowing that a minor is present (Sec. 2).
Classifies the violation of subsection (a) of this section as a Class A1 misdemeanor for the first offense and a Class I felony for a second offense (Sec. 2).
Defines ‘intimate parts’ to mean a person’s sexual organs, anus, breast, groin, or buttocks (Sec. 3).
Defines ‘sexual contact’ to mean any of the following intentional touching if the touching can be reasonably construed as being for the purpose of sexual arousal or gratification (Sec. 3):
The intentional touching of a person’s intimate parts or of the clothing covering the person’s intimate parts;
The intentional touching of another person’s own intimate parts, whether or not those intimate parts are clothed.
Specifies that unless the conduct is covered under some other provision of law providing greater punishment, a person is guilty of sexual contact with a minor, if being 18 or older, the person engages in sexual contact with a minor (Sec. 3).
Specifies that a person who violates subsection (b) of this section is guilty of a Class A1 misdemeanor (Sec. 3).
