  • Establishes that each elector has the right to vote in any election in which the elector is qualified, registered and can cast a ballot in (sec. 1).

  • Establishes each electors right to cast a ballot in a confidential manner (Sec. 3). 

  • Prohibits the secretary of state from disclosing how a particular elector voted in the election (Sec. 3). 

  • Specifies that for the purposes of the election security plan, cybersecurity procedures for the casting and tallying of ballots be developed and any other security measure that the secretary of state deems necessary (Sec. 4).

  • Specifies that if a person knowingly signs a petition without being qualified, that person may not attempt to get others to sign (Sec. 15). 

  • Specifies that a person may not knowingly sign a petition more than once (Sec. 15). 

  • Authorizes the secretary of state to alter the specific language required to be written in documents relating to an election (Sec. 15).
