  • Authorizes any qualified first responder to obtain and administer naloxone, or any other drug or device approved and adminsterred by the United States FDA that blocks the effects of an opioid overdose (Sec. A).

  • Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect upon passage and approval by the governor (Sec. A).
