Vote to pass a bill that amends certain provisions on criminal laws.
Amends certain criminal convictions, including, potential expungement of records of criminals convicted of sexual expoloitation of a minor, or the promotion of child pornography (Sec. 610.140).
Expands qualifications for restitution for those who are exonerated based on DNA evidence to those who are later determined to be innocent through a habeas corpus proceeding, and those proceeding and those whose convictions are set aside per a prosecutors motion to vacate the judgement (Sec. 650-058).
Increases restitution amount by more than 75 percent for eligible individuals (Sec. 650-058).
Requires the state to pay expanded and increased restitution requirements (Sec. 650-058).
