Title: Amends Public Records Access for Missouri State Highway Patrol
Vote to pass a bill that amends public records access for Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Specifies that the disclosure of certain records is at the request of law enforcement (Sec. 1).
Requires a minimum charge of six dollars to retrieve records regarding automobile crashes by the state highway patrol (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the superintendent of the highway patrol may not increase the fee by more than one dollar every other year and the minimum fee shall not exceed ten dollars (Sec. 1).
Prohibits a public agency from disclosing personal information without the express authorization of financial supporters of the entity (Sec. 1).
Exempts personal information that is submitted to retrieve a license, grant, contract, tax credit and other items as publicly available information and thus able to be disclosed by a state agency (Sec. 1).
Specifies that no fee shall be required to receive a birth certificate if the victim is a survivor of domestic abuse (Sec. 1).
Requires fingerprint submissions before applications to work in a marijuana facility are done (Sec. 1).
Specifies that this does not prohibit any state agency from disclosing personally identifiable information when carrying out official duties (Sec. 1).
Specifies that some pieces of information that may endanger the health and safety of the public are not subject to open records requests (Sec. 1).
