Vote to pass a bill that amends the due process asset forfeiture act.

• Requires that the department maintain a public access database that includes any make or model related to the property and the estimated value and net equity of the property (Sec. 2).

• Requires that Information relating to the forfeiture proceeding include the outcome of the forfeiture proceeding, whether the property owner defaulted in litigation, if the court determined the property owner was an innocent owner, if the property was forfeited by court order, settlement, or as part of a plea agreement (Sec. 2).
