Vote to pass a bill that prohibits a judge from requiring a person give testimony or statements in another state regarding a person who sought "legally protected health care' in Maryland.

Highlights:

• Prohibits a judge from requiring a person to give testimony or produce evidence in another state regarding “legally protected healthcare” (Sec. 1). 

• Requires that a request for the issuance of a foreign subpoena include certain sworn statements (Sec. 1). 

• Prohibits an ex parte order to intercept certain communication for the purpose of investigating or recovering evidence related to legally protected healthcare 

• Prohibits certain judgment creditors from filing a copy of certain foreign judgements (Sec. 1).
