Title: Prohibits Employer Required COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits employer required COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
Alleges that the Coronavirus and its vaccine are new medical developments and thus the vaccination is a very personal and individual decision (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the US constitution provides that the state cannot pass laws impairing the obligation of contracts and that Idaho is an at-will employment state (Sec. 1).
Prohibits a business entity doing any form of business in the state of Idaho from refusing to provide a service, product, admission to a venue, or a transportation service to a person due to lack of Coronavirus vaccination (Sec. 2).
Specifies that a business entity operating in the state will not make employment contingent on vaccination against the Coronavirus (Sec. 2).
Specifies that ticket issuers shall not penalize or deny access to any event because the ticket holder has not received a coronavirus vaccine (Sec. 2).
Specifies that unless required by federal law, no state entity shall require any person to receive a coronavirus vaccine (Sec. 2).
Specifies that unless required by federal law, no state service will deny people the following (Sec. 2):
Government benefits;
Government services;
Government issued license;
Entrance into a public building;
Use of public transportation.
Prohibits any state, county, and local government from denying compensation based on vaccination status (Sec. 2).
Specifies that the provisions of this act may be enforced by the attorney general (Sec. 2).
