Vote to pass a bill that amends existing law to specify the definition of an abortion.

Highlights:

• Specifies that the following things do not constitute an abortion (Sec. 1): 

• The removal of a dead unborn child;

• The removal of an ectopic or molar pregnancy;

• The treatment of a woman who is no longer pregnant

• Defines what shall not be considered a criminal abortion as the following (Sec. 1):

• An abortion was performed or attempted by a physician during the first trimeter of pregnancy 

• If the women was the victim of an act of rape or incest 

• If the woman is a minor and a victim of rape or incest

• Specifies that if a person makes a report of rape or incest then the person who made the report shall be entitled to receive a copy of such report (Sec. 1).
