Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the state to exit the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC), an opt-in coalition of states that share information to help maintain accurate voter rolls.

Highlights:

  • Prohibits the state from Being a member of any Multistate voter registration list organization that requires the state to submit information that is determined to be confidential info regarding people’s identities (Sec. 1). 

  • Prohibits the state from joining or entering any agreement with any organization that imposes any duty that is not expressly required by the laws of the state (Sec. 1).

  • Specifies that Ballots must be filled out using a blue or black pen to fill in the oval next to an individual's choice for each contest in which one wishes to vote (Sec. 3). 

  • Specifies that to vote for an official write-in candidate one must write the name provided for that contest and fi9ll in the oval next to the written name (Sec. 3). 

  • Specifies that Arizona ballots are valid if they are deposited at any polling place in the county of residence no later than 7:00 PM on election day (Sec. 5). 

  • Specifies that after a vote canvass is completed the county recorder shall deposit all rejected provisional and early ballots in a secure facility that is managed by the county treasurer (Sec. 10)
