Vote to amend and pass a bill that authorizes counties to use 20% of cannabis revenues to help fund construction and repair of rural roads.

Highlights:

• Authorizes counties to transfer up to 20% of cannabis revenues into the department of transportation and deposited into the county roads habitat access acount to solely help fund construction and repair of rural roads (Sec. 4).

• Increases appropriation amounts by 5% for state accounts that provide assistance for veterans and their surviving spouses and dependents (Sec. 4).

• Increases state funding toward environment and wildlife habitat improvement projects as well as other conservation work efforts in the state (Sec. 9).

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect July 1, 2023 (Sec. 14).
