Highlights:

• Prohibits the Consumer Product Safety Commission from the following, including (Sec. 3):

• Using federal funds to regulate gas stoves as banned hazardous products; or

• Issuing or enforcing a product safety standard that prohibits the use or sale of gas stoves, or substantially increases their price.

• Defines “gas stove” as any gas range, gas stove, or household cooking gas appliance that meets the standard set forth in American National Standards Institute or any successor standard (Sec. 2).
