Vote to concur with house amendments and pass a bill that amends current laws and statutes regarding certain hallucinogens.

Highlights:

• Amends prior legislation making the possession, preparation, obtaining, transfer of specified quantities of psilocybin, psilocyn, dimethyltryptamine (DMT), ibogaine, and mescaline lawful (Sec. 1):

• Establishes that paraphernalia related to these substances or their testing is no longer illegal; and 

• Required that the people involved are 21 or older; or

• Authorizes penalties for possession of these substances on school grounds and if someone under 21 possesses these substances or it is given to them.  

• Establishes a new state-mandated local program driven by local prosecutors that will create new drug related offenses to manage substance abuse issues (Sec. 1).
