Vote to pass a bill that prohibits possession of firearms by convicted felons.

Highlights:

• Prohibits individuals who have been convicted of the following from owning a firearm (Sec. 1). 

• Felony violence;

• Sex offenses; 

• Simple burglary;

• Illegal usage of weapons; 

• Manufacture of an incendiary device or bomb;

• Any crime under the laws of any other state or territory or of the United States or of any foreign government or country which, if committed in this state, would be one of the above elaborated crimes.

• Specifies that if found guilty of violating the above then then the sentence shall be served consecutively with the remaining balance of the other time served (Sec. 1).
