    • Collect, sell, share, or retain  any personal information that is not necessary to the online service;

    • Collect, sell, or share the geolocation data of children; and

    • Use dark patterns to lead children to provide personal information.

  • Establishes a $50,000 fine for each violation of the above protections (Sec. 2).

  • Requires online platforms to be transparent to users about data sharing (Sec. 4).

  • Requires online platforms to provide users with the option to opt out of data sharing (Sec. 4).
