Title: Establishes Economic Incentives for Oil and Gas Companies
Vote to adopt a conference and pass a bill that establishes state economic incentives for oil and gas companies.
Establishes various state economic incentives for oil and gas companies to provide the following, including, but not limited to (Sec. 1):
Creation of new high-paying permanent jobs and construction jobs in the state;
Encourage financially positive economic development and energy water infrastructure projects in the state;
Provide temporary competitive economic incentive for attracting certain-large scale economic development projects; and
Creation of certain advanced manufacturing industry sectors critical to national defense and health care.
Exempts wind and solar companies from the aforementioned economic incentives (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect September 1, 2023 (Sec. 11).
