Title: Establishes Parental Bill of Rights in Education, Health and Mental Healthcare

  • Authorizes a court to grant the following typs of relief for parents who bring any judicial or civil action for a violation under this bill (Sec. 3):

    • Declaratory releif;

    • Injuctive relief;

    • Compensatory damages;

    • Reasonable attorney’s fees and costs; and

  • Specifies that the aforementioned parental bill of rights shall include protections on the following, including, but not limitedto (Sec. 4):

    • Reffering to and rasing a child to be consistent with their biological sex;

    • Declining or providing puberty blocking medication or testosterone or estrogen supplements;

    • Prohibitions over any surgical procedure for the purpose of altering gender;

    • Declining to consent to the child receiving counseling or mental health services for the purposes of affirming their own perception of their gender or sex.
