Highlights:

 

  • Requires that if a notice is received 15 days before a primary, special or general election, such change of address before the election (Sec. 1). 

  • Requires any board of elections that receives a ballot from somebody in another district to forward that ballot to the correct board of elections electronically on the same day (Sec. 1). 

  • Requires that all instructions on how to fill out and then submit their voter application be received by any county board of elections ten days before the election at which the applicant may vote and if sent by mail postmarked at least 15 days prior to the election at which the applicant may vote (Sec. 1). 

  • Require board of electors notify any applicant their application has been rejected no later than 7 days before the day of the first primary or general election occurring at least ten days after the filing of such application form (Sec. 1). 

  • Requires all completed applications and change of address forms that are received by participating agencies after twenty days prior to an election and by the twelfth day before an election be sent to the appropriate board of elections in an efficient manner, so they reach the correct board by the tenth day before such election (Sec. 1). 

  • Specifies that qualified voters who register after 10 days prior to the election are not to be placed on the poll ledger appear on a computer generated registration list until after the election (Sec. 1).
