Vote to pass a bill that Establishes certain exemptions for use of restrooms, locker rooms, or changing areas.

Highlights:

• Establishes the following exemptions for designations and use of restrooms, locker rooms or changing area (Sec. 1):

• For custodial maintenance or inspection purposes;

• To render emergency medical assistance; or

• When a coach enters a locker room during or after athletic activity when all students are present and fully dressed.

• Requires that if a coach is a member of the opposite sex of the students present they shall be accompanied by an adult of the same sex as the students present (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 3).
