Title: Establishes a Developmentally Appropriate Response to Youth Who Commit Sexual Offenses
Vote to pass a bill that establishes a developmentally appropriate response to youth who commit sexual offenses.
Defines “certified affiliate sex offender treatment provider” as the following, including, but not limited to a (Sec. 3):
Licensed mental health counselor associate;
Licensed independent clinical social worker associate;
Licensed advanced social worker associate; or
Licensed marriage and family therapist associate.
Requires certified affiliate sex offender treatment provider establish a developmentally appropriate response to youth who commit sexual offenses (Sec. 3).
Requires that all individuals who committed a class A or class B sex offense, including a rape, and not been designated with a special sex offender isposition while a minor to register with the county sherrif in the county they reside (Sec. 5).
