Vote to pass a bill that appropriates $23 billion for the state education budget through fiscal year 2027.

Highlights:

• Appropriates $23 billion for the state education budget through fiscal year 2027 (Sec. 1).

• Requires all school districts and charter schools in the state provide students access to menstrual products at no charge to students and families (Sec. 1).

• Defines “menstrual products” as pads, tampons, or other similar products used in connection with the menstrual cycle (Sec. 1).

• Requires all school districts and charter schools in the state provide students access to opiate antagonists including 2 doses of nasal naloxone available on-site at no charge to students and families (Sec. 2).
