Title: Prohibits Gender-Affirming Medical Care for Minors
Vote to adopt a conference report and pass a bill that prohibits gender affirming care for minors.
Authorizes civil action against a physician who performed a childhood gender reassignment service (Sec. 1).
Authorizes civil action up to 3 years after the individual who received childhood gender reassignment services turns 18 (Sec. 1).
Specifies that this provision does not apply if the child was born with a medically verifiable disorder of sex development (Sec. 1).
Authorizes any individuals bringing forth action under this section to seek actual damages, exemplary or punitive damages, injunctive relief and other appropriate relief (Sec. 1).
Requires the courts to prevailing plaintiff the cost of the suit including reasonable attorney fees (Sec. 1).
