Title: Requires Local Municipal Enforcement of Anti-Homeless Measures
Vote to concur with house amendments and pass a bill that requires enforcement of the ban on homeless people camping in public and prohibits governments or hospitals from placing homeless people in other counties without permission.
Requires local municipal enforcement of the state bans on homeless individuals camping in public (Sec. 1).
Prohibits governments or hospitals from placing homeless people outside its areas of operation (Sec. 1).
Defines “homeless individual” as someone who has no access to or can reasonably be expected not to have access to either traditional or permanent housing which can be considered safe, sanitary, decent, and affordable (Sec. 1).
Defines “areas of operation” for the purposes of this bill as the county in which the hospital is located (Sec. 1).
