• Exempts firearm safety devices from the state sales tax begginning December 31, 2024 (Sec. 4).

• Defines “firearm safety device” as equipment designed to prevent unauthorizes access to, or operation or discharge of, a firearm that is either (Sec. 4):

• A device that when installed is designed to prevent the firearm from being operated without first deactivating the device;

•  A gun safe, gun case, lockbos, or other device that is disigned to prevent access.

• Exempts glass-faced cabinets from the aforementioned definition for a firearm safety device (Sec. 4).
