Vote to pass a bill that amends various state handgun laws.

Highlights:

• Amends various state handgun laws, including, but not limited to, the following (Sec. 223):

• That an individual upon first offense is guilty of a misdemeanor, fine of $100-500, and/or a prison sentence of 90 days for selling a firearm to a minor;

• Upon second or subsequent offense is guilty of a felony, fine of $2,000 and or 4 year prison sentence.

• Prohibits firearm sales to any individual convicted of a felony and specifies violators shall be guilty themselves of a felony, punishable by a fine of up to $5,000 or 10 year prison sentence, or both (Sec. 223).
