Vote to pass a bill that amends the state constitution to increase the reporting window for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Amends the state constitution to increase the reporting window for survivors of childhood sexual abuse to 2 years without bar or limitation (Sec. 1).
Requires the secretary of state to immediately proceed with the provisions of this bill upon first passage and approval by the General Assembly (Sec. 2).
NOTE: AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION IS A THREE-STEP PROCESS. FIRST, IT REQUIRES APPROVAL OF A MAJORITY IN BOTH THE HOUSE AND SENATE.
