Vote to pass a bill that prohibits minors from attending drag shows with "sexual conduct".

Highlights:

• Prohibits minors from attending sexual exhibition “drag” shows or performances and requires individuals and institutions take reasonable steps to restrict minor access (Sec. 1).

• Authorizes civil action of up to $10,000 in statutory damages be taken by any minor, parent, or legal guardian of a minor exposed to sexual conduct within 4 years of the violation occuring (Sec. 1).

• Defines “minor” as an individual under 18 years of age (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits the use of public funds, facilities, equipment, or other physical assets owned or controlled by the state from being appropriated, rented out, or leased for the purpose of showing sexual exhibition shows or performances (Sec. 2).

• Specifies that this bill shall take effect July 1, 2023 (Sec. 3).
