Vote to pass a bill that establishes patient visitation rights.

Highlights:

• Defines “care facility” as any hospice, hospital, or long-term care facility in the state (Sec. 3).

• Establishes that all individual patients at any care facility have the right to a minimum of 2 hours of in-person visitation rights per day, which may not be limited by the number of visitors by the department of health and human services or governor during state of emergency declarations (Sec. 4).

• Prohibits a care facility fro requiring a patient waive the aforementioned visitation rights or impose a restriction on visitation based on the visitors vaccination status (Sec. 4).
