Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funding for school lunches, sustainable aviation, special education, and more.

Highlights:

• Appropriates funds from the federal American Rescue Plan Act to provide universal free lunches through the end of June 2023 (Sec. 1).

• Extends revenue and volatility caps through June 30, 2028 (Sec. 15). 

• Requires the University of Connecticut to submit or participate in a proposal for federal funding to support the establishment, development and operation of a center for sustainable aviation through the United States Department of Energy Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs (Sec. 4). 

• Appropriates $8 million to give to the University of Connecticut, so they are able to pursue the funding for the center for sustainable aviation (Sec. 5).
