Vote to pass a substitute bill that prohibits the denial or limitation of custody on the basis of disability.

Highlights:

• Prohibits any court, public services agency, private child placing agency, or private noncustodial agency from denying or limiting an individual with a disability from the following, including, but not limited to (Sec. 2131.03):

• Excercising custody, parenting time, or visitation rights with a minor;

• Adopting a minor;

• Serving as a foster caregiver for a minor; or

• Being appointed as a guardian for a minor.
