Vote to amend and pass a bill that appropriates funding for military transitional housing.

Highlights:

• Establishes a military transitional housing fund consisting of money allocated from any federal source (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that the director shall administer the fund (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that money shall be deposited into the fund by the order of the governor and shall be spent on newly constructed transitional housing (Sec. 1).

• Establishes that fund money shall be spent for developing projects and programs to provide transitional housing opportunities for military members (Sec. 1).

• Establishes that on or before December 1 of each year the director shall submit a report of the status of the transitional housing fund (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that the department may not use more than 10% of the money in the fund annually (Sec. 1).
