Highlights:

  • Requires hospitals and approved federally qualified health centers to have sexual assault plans such as forensic and transfer services (Sec. 5).

  • Requires emergency department attending physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice registered nurses, and registered professional nurses providing clinical services to receive a minimum of 2 hours of continuing education every 2 years on responding to sexual assault survivors (Sec. 5).
