  • Authorizes absent uniformed services voters and their spouses to electronically request and transmit voter registration and ballot information to a county or city election clerk (Sec. 759a).

  • Requires the email address provided by the overseas voter and absent uniformed servicemember to remain confidential and exempt from disclosure under the freedom of information act (Sec. 759a).

  • Defines “absent uniformed services voter” as a uniformed servicemember on active duty, or their spouse, who is absent from their place of residence where they woud otherwise be qualified to vote on election day (Sec. 759a).

  • Defines “uniformed services” as the following, including, but not limited to the (Sec. 759a):

    • Army;

    • Navy;

    • Air Force;

    • Marine Corps;

    • Space Force;

    • Coast Guard; or

    • Michigan National Guard

  • Specifies that this act shall take effect immediately (Sec. 759a).
