Vote to pass a bill that establishes firefighter emergency wildfire evacuation plans for the public.

Highlights:

• Requires excavators to notify the notification center as soon as practical once an emergency excavation is used to suppress wildfires but neither party is required to mark the area for wildfire suppression (Sec. 1). 

• Establishes when engaging in emergency excavation, no excavator damaging or injuring underground facilities shall be liable expert when failing to utilize reasonable care (Sec. 1).
