Vote to pass a bill that prohibits business's from charging different prices for products based on gender.

Highlights:

• Prohibits businesses, or any person or entity acting as a business, from charging a different price for 2 similar goods if those goods are priced differently based on the gender of the intended customer (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that the bill does not prohibit price differences based on the labor, time, cost, difficulty, or materials used in manufacturing, nor does it prohibit price differences based upon any other gender neutral reason (Sec. 1).

• Establishes that the penalty for a violation of the section will be a court imposed civil penalty not exceeding $10,000 for the first violation and a civil penalty not exceeding $1,000 for each subsequent violation (Sec. 1).
