Vote to pass a bill that authorizes school violence prevention programs.

Highlights:

• Establishes the Delaware school safety and security funds may also be used for the support and implementation of program expenditures, including (Sec. 1):

• Lockdown drills;

• Comprehensive school threat assessments; and

• Prevention training for youth and adults.

• Authorizes the use of funds to also pay for constables or other law enforcement personnel utilized by the Local Education Agency (Sec. 1).
