Title: Requires Equal Treatment for All Religious Organizations During Declared State of Emergencies
Vote to pass a bill that requires equal treatment for all religious organizations during declared state of emergencies.
Prohibits a governmental entity from prohibiting or restricting any religious organization from operating or engaging in religious services during a declared emergency to the same extent that other organzations or businesses that provide essential services necessary and vital to the health and welfare of the public are prohibited or restricted (Sec. 1).
Specifies that nothing in this act shall prohibit the Governor from requiring religious organizations comply with neurtral health, safety, or occupancy requirements that are applicable to all organzations (Sec. 1).
