Vote to pass a bill that establishes various programs, departments, and laws to promote growth in the clean energy industry and workforce.
Requires all new passenger vehicle sales in the state be zero-emission by 2035 (Sec. ).
Requires distribution companies establish time-of-use rate proposals and that off-peak rates for charging vehicles be made available (Sec. 1).
Increases rebates for electric vehicles purchases to $5,000 with an additional $1,500 rebate for low-income individuals, and an additional rates for medium and heavy-duty vehicles (Sec. 1).
Establishes the state goal of decreasing emissions to 50 percent below 1990 levels by 2030 (Sec. 1).
