Title: Establishes Guidelines for New Child Care Provider Contracts
Vote to pass a bill that establishes guidelines for new infant and toddler child care provider contracts.
Requires the Department of Education to develop a model for contracts with infant and toddler child care providers that can be funded within the Federal Child Care and Development Block Grant (Sec. 5).
Requires contracts to be awarded to communities in which infant and toddler child care demand exceeds supply (Sec. 5).
Specifies that the model contract created by the Department must include payment, wage ,and attendance requirements (Sec. 10).
Specifies that the act takes effect immediately upon passage and approval (Sec. 10, Pg. 2).
