• Prohibits abortions after 15 weeks of probable gestation and specifies that physician found to have intentionally violated this provision may have their license to practice revoked (Sec. 2).

• Exempts cases when necessary to prevent the death of the pregnant individual or to avoid serious risk of substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function (Sec. 3).

• Authorizes the state attorney general the power to bring an action in law or equity to enforce any provision of this act on behalf of the commonwealth of Kentucky (Sec. 5).

• Specifies that the state Board of Medical Licensure shall also have the authority to bring an action on its own behalf (Sec. 5).
