Vote to pass a bill that increases warehouse worker safety regulations.

Highlights:

• Requires employers to allow warehouse employees adequate time to use the restroom for every 4 hours of work (Sec. 1).

• Requires employers to provide warehouse employees with a written notice of all quotas they are expected to meet within 30 days of hiring (Sec. 2).

• Prohibits employers from taking actions against warehouse employees who fail to meet quotas not specified in the written notice, or quotas that conflict with adequate time to use the restroom (Sec. 2).

• Authorizes warehouse employees to request copies of their work speed data at any time (Sec. 2).

• Requires state commissioner to open an investigation into an employer if warehouse employees have an injury rate greater than 1.5 times the industry average (Sec. 2).
