A vote to pass a bill that prohibits the use of flavored tobacco products and adds penalties.

Highlights:

• Prohibits, beginning January 1, 2023, any agent or employee of the retailer to (Sec. 2)

• Sell, offer for sale, or posses with the intent to sell or offer for sale, a flavored tobacco product; or

• Mislabel as nicotine-free, or sell or market for sale as nicotine- free, any e-liquid product that contains nicotine. 

• Specifies any agent or employee of a retailer who violates this law shall be subject to a fine of not less than 500 dollars nor more than 2,000 dollars (Sec. 2)
