Vote to concur with house amendments and pass a bill that appropriates funds for a state psychedelic-assisted mental health treatment program.

Highlights:

• Establishes a Connecticut Psychedelic Treatment Advisory Board in order to create a psychedelic assisted mental health treatment/therapy pilot program with the use of existing state funds to provide qualified patients with the funding necessary to receive MDMA assisted or psilocybin assisted therapy as part of an expanded access program approved by the FDA (Sec. 203). 

• Appropriates $75.34 million from the 2022-2023 state budget for total expenses related to the Legislative Management Agency and $62.2 million for the Department of Revenue Services (Sec. 1).

• Appropriates $25.26 million from the the 2022-2023 state budget for the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and $658.25 million for agency expenses in the Office of Policy and Management (Sec. 1).

• Appropriates $183.31 million from the 2022-2023 state budget for total agency expenses related to the the Department of Adminstrative Services and $58.3 million for the Division of Criminal Justice (Sec. 1).

• Appropriates $210.14 million from the 2022-2023 state budget for total agency expenses related to the the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection and $14.8 million for the Department of Consumer Protection (Sec. 1).

• Appropriates $78.7 million from the 2022-2023 state budget for total agency expenses related to the the Department of Labor and $16.3 million for the Department of Economic and Community Development (Sec. 1).

• Appropriates $106.19 million from the 2022-2023 state budget for total agency expenses related to the the Department of Housing and $65.3 million for the Department of Public Health (Sec. 1).

• Appropriates $611.41 million from the 2022-2023 state budget for total agency expenses related to the the Department of Housing and $664.7 million for the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (Sec. 1).
